The influence of the method of measuring the mechanical impurity in the oil filter on the hydraulic lubrication system

2018/5/15 Viewers:
In addition to the visual qualitative monitoring used in the operation supervision, the methods for measuring the mechanical impurities in oil products have been adopted and the methods are being carried out in the following ways.

1. quantitative analysis method. That is, GB511 65 mechanical impurity determination. The method is to dilute the oil first with a solvent and filter it with filter paper or other filter to separate the solid suspended particles in the oil, rinse all the oil in the solvent, and then dry and weigh it. The result is expressed as a percentage. The solvents used for determining mechanical impurities are mainly used to dissolve organic components such as oil, so as to separate the moths and impurities from the filter paper. Gasoline can dissolve kerosene, diesel, lubricating oil, paraffin and other oil and neutral gum. But it can not dissolve asphaltene, asphaltenic acid and anhydride, but also insoluble in water. Therefore, gasoline can be used as solvent in determining the mechanical impurities of refined petroleum products with less colloidal substances. Benzene can dissolve oil products such as steam, coal, diesel, lubricating oil, paraffin and so on. It can also dissolve neutral colloid and asphaltene, and can also be used as a solvent for sulfur, phosphorus, iodine and other substances. But it can not dissolve the charcoal green matter and only dissolve in water. Because it can dissolve the asphaltene which can not be dissolved in gasoline, it is possible to use benzene as solvent when determining impurities in dark unrefined oil or additives. Ethanol can be dissolved in water and can be mixed with water in any proportion. Ether can be dissolved in ethanol and volatilized (boiling point 35C). When the water content of the sample is much more difficult to filter, the mixture of ethyl ether and ethyl ether can be added to remove moisture so as to filter. Ethanol can dissolve asphaltenic acid and its acid anhydride. Therefore, when measuring impurities in lubricating oil containing additives, it can also be used to wash impurities in the mixture of ethanol and ethyl ether. Water is only used for the determination of certain additives with specific additives. The precipitates are not dissolved by organic solvents, and water is used to rinse impurities when the water is washed in specifications or specialized contracts. After washing all kinds of solvents, the weight of filter paper is not exactly the same. Using benzene, petroleum ether and distilled water to wash filter paper, the weight of filter paper is reduced. After washing with ethanol and gasoline, the weight of the filter paper increased, especially that of ethanol.
2. particle size determination method. The principle of granulation in oil is mainly to make use of the optical properties of the material, that is to say, in the transparent liquid, the size and the amount of the solid particles are inversely proportional to the transparency of the liquid, and are detected by the corresponding identification group. At present, the more advanced instrument is the automatic particle counter. However, the particle size in oil can also be measured by high power microscope.
